Last minutes cleaning ( first task )


 Today we had our first cleaning session for the Wasp helicopter. It was a bit of a last-minute task because there was an upcoming event, so we had to get it done quickly. Even though we only managed to wipe off the dust, the process was surprisingly tiring but exciting.

We got the chance to explore the helicopter closely and see its detailed parts up close, which made the experience even more interesting. Everyone felt proud to be involved in preparing the aircraft for display. We’re all excited and can’t wait to move on to the next part of the cleaning and restoration process!

Today was such an exciting day because we got to  learn more about the helicopter  and its main components. Sir Zihad explained important parts like the  main rotor, tail rotor, rotary wing, and control stick . It was amazing to finally understand how each part works together to make the helicopter fly. Everyone was  so excited and happy to learn  — no one felt sleepy at all! The hands-on learning and real-life explanations made the session even more interesting. It was a fun and meaningful experience that gave us a deeper appreciation for aerospace technology.

Hangar with MRSM students !

 Today, around 140 MRSM students came to visit the hangar. Since it was a big group, I went to the hangar to see if there was anything I could help with. Furthermore, it felt like a good opportunity to support the team and make sure the visit went smoothly. I helped with small tasks such as guiding the students, ensuring they stayed in safe areas, and answering simple questions about the aircraft whenever they were curious. It was nice to see how excited they were to learn about aviation and to watch them explore the hangar for the first time. Their enthusiasm actually made the atmosphere lively and fun. Thankfully, the interior cleaning that me, Alya, and Wong did yesterday really paid off because the students were able to step inside the helicopter and see the interior up close. It felt satisfying knowing that our work contributed to giving them a good experience.

  Today I cleaned the helicopter with Wong and Alya because tomorrow there’s a visit from SJKC Pai Tek Nibong Tebal. After a week of mid-semester break, I actually kind of missed the heli. It was just normal cleaning, wiping and checking a few spots while we talked and laughed about random things. Nothing too serious, but it felt nice to be back in the hangar and around the helicopter again. Now everything is ready for tomorrow’s visit.
